Mexico City

We just got back from a quick trip to Mexico City. 4 full days of sights, food and lots of walking.
One thing that sticks out from our trip was the way everything has a tilt in Mexico City. The subtle sinking has taken it’s toll on the city, especially in the center. I’m sure the 1985 earthquake didn’t help matters with this sinking city. Overall, Mexico City wasn’t exactly what I was expecting. Taxis were ok to take, but traffic was a bit scary at times. The subway system on the other hand cost a quarter to ride and got you where you needed to go rather quickly.
Places I’d recommend going to are the Templo Mayor next to the Cathedral in front of the Zocalo. The Cathedral is also nice to walk through, we even caught a mass going on in the front chapel. There’s also the Palacio de Bellas Artes, the palace of fine arts. It quite impressive and beautiful. I’m a bit
